Dr. Jeffrey Yasny

D.D.S., Dip. Anaesth.

He has provided anaesthetics to more than 10,000 patients, of all ages.

Dr. Jeffrey Yasny graduated from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994. After completing a two year general practice residency at the University of Michigan, where he served as the chief resident, he entered private practice in Toronto. In 1998, Dr. Yasny pursued a two-year residency in dental anaesthesiology at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. Following this training, he accepted a rare opportunity to further his education and complete an additional three-year fellowship in dental anaesthesiology.

Dr. Yasny held the distinct position of Assistant Professor and Attending in both the departments of Anesthesiology and Dentistry at Mount Sinai. He has supervised and taught anaesthesiology, oral surgery and paediatric dental residents. For more than 20 years, he has provided anaesthetics to more than 10,000 patients of all ages and various medical histories. For 15 years, Dr. Yasny provided general anaesthesia for dental treatment to more children in Manhattan than any other dentist. Added to his extensive clinical background are his academic accomplishments. He is a continuing education director, national and international lecturer, and published author in several highly respected medical and dental journals (see left panel). Dr. Yasny is also an instructor in the Department of Anaesthesia, at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.
