Dr. Behnam Bohluli

Dr. Bohluli is considered internationally as a leader in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During his 20+ year career, he has performed more than 4,000 major, complex oral and facial surgeries, in addition to several thousand minor surgeries. Dr. Bohluli is especially interested in managing complicated surgical cases. He believes that a successful, comprehensive procedure can be indispensable in achieving the patient’s goals.

In addition to his busy clinical practice, he is actively involved in academia and scientific research. He has frequently lectured at international meetings. His scientific efforts have led to 44 publications in renowned surgical journals and 40 book chapters, commonly referenced in this field. In addition, he serves as a reviewer in many high-ranking surgical journals and has recently edited and co-edited three major textbooks.

Dr. Bohluli taught at the University of Toronto for seven years. He has integrated international surgical concepts with those utilized in North America. Moreover, he has the honour of being certified by three prestigious North American boards – the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
